Megan Gassner, MA LMFT

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have a wide range of experience working with children, teens, and adults in various therapeutic settings. I am open-minded, compassionate, and collaborative in my approach. I genuinely care about my clients. I want to help you recognize and build on your strengths. And I want to help you to learn ways to suffer less and to experience more joy and fulfillment in relationships and in life. In sessions, we may incorporate psychoeducation, skills training in emotion regulation or communication, mindfulness techniques, or cognitive-behavioral strategies designed to reduce negative thought patterns that can lead to depression, anxiety, or relationship problems. Regardless of the technique, you will be treated with respect and unconditional positive regard.
Personally, I enjoy running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. I love to laugh really hard, listen to good music, and hang out with my two amazing kids.
